Do you want to be great? or Mediocre? It is entirely up to you!

It takes just as much effort to live poorly as it does to live well.  It takes just as much effort to be mediocre as it does to be magnificent.  As long as you’re to put in the time, you might as wells make it count.

There are many people who pay to play golf, and there are some people who get paid millions of dollars to play golf.  There are some people who earn a few dollars per hour cooking food, and others who earn millions doing it.  The difference is not in the time or effort expended, but rather in the commitment to excellence.  The minimum wage cook is thinking about what he’ll do when his shift is over.   The millionaire chef is thinking of ways to improve his food.  And they both get exactly wheat they dwell upon.  Whatever can be done, can be done better.  Your situation doesn’t limit you.  There is opportunity for excellence in every situation.  Any limitations you have are the result of your own attitude.

Take it up a notch, aim a little higher today, and higher yet tomorrow.  Think BIG, make it count, and make a difference….

Make it a great 2018

LIGHTS – A SYMBOL OF CHRISTMAS

“When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, ‘I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.’”  John 8:12

Lights are an important symbol of the meaning of Christmas. Jesus entered this world to be the Light in the darkness, and God created the original Light show.  After all, the angels appeared to the shepherds, and whenever angels appear they often have this dazzling array around them.  And then there was the star over Bethlehem that the wise men were drawn to.  We’re always drawn to the Light.

So the next time you go driving around looking at the lights, remember the coming of Jesus, “the Light of the world.”

It is the “Week of Christmas” festivities
