Learn to control your Anger with God’s help

When angry, do not sin: do not ever let your wrath last until the sun goes down.

Ephesians 4:26

Have you recently struggled with fact that you are a Christian who is trying to live a godly life, yet you still feel angry? Many Christians are confused about anger and think that as people who want to be Chistlike, they should never get angry. They wonder why they keep having to deal with anger when its something they dont want to feel.

We need to understand that not all anger is a sin, but some of it is. The Bible speaks of a righteous anger that even God Himself display at times in Scripture (Psalm 7:11NIV)

What’s the difference between apparently innocent emotions that are simply part of life and emotions that are sinful? Unacceptable and sinful anger is that which fills us with bitterness, resentment, and unforgiveness and/or motivates us to hurt a fellow human being. When we want to lash out vengefully and inflict pain on others, we are definitely out of God’s will. God says that vengeance is His (Deuteronomy 32:35), and our position is to be one of faith in Him, waiting patiently and lovingly as He works justice in our lives. Controlling the passion of anger, especially an aggressive and outspoken nature, can be one of the more challenging things you will face in life, but controlling it is certainly possible with God’s help.

14 Personal Rules That Make Every Day Better

Input-free Mornings

Before 10 a.m., no email, no social media, no news, no scrolling, no content consumption—just quiet and creativity.

Protein for Breakfast

Breakfast is composed of a hearty portion of protein to stay focused and satiated throughout the early part of the day.

Keep Your Phone in Its Place

When you’re home, keep your phone in a designated spot, not next to you. If you need your phone, you go to it. Don’t keep it within reach where you’ll be tempted to pick it up unnecessarily.

Consistent Wake and Sleep Times

Wake up at the same time every morning. Go to bed at the same time every night. Set alarms for both times. Consistency improves your quality of sleep and overall level of energy.

Choose Groceries Wisely

Don’t purchase foods with inflammatory seed oils in the ingredient list or more than three grams of sugar per serving.

Set up Before Bed

Before bed, take no more than 10 minutes to set the coffee maker, tidy your home, and lay out your clothes.

Standing Appointments

Go on a date with your spouse every Friday night. Visit your extended family every other weekend. Set standing appointments with the most important people in your life.

Move Your Body

Go to the gym five times a week. Go for a walk outside every day.

Two-minute Rule

If a task will take two minutes or less to complete, do it immediately.

Gratitude

Make a list of at least five things you’re grateful for each day.

Declutter

Each day, donate, recycle, or dispose of one item that is no longer loved or needed in your home. Keep a donation receptacle for this purpose.

Read

Read at least one page of a book each day.

Desk Reset

Before leaving or closing out your work for the day, take five minutes or less to tidy and reset your desk for the next day.

Listen While You Work

Army Cores that we can learn from

1. Loyalty: Stand for More Than Yourself

Loyalty is the cornerstone of relationships. In business, it keeps your team together. In crisis, it ensures that no one gets left behind.

2. Duty: Do the Right Thing, Especially When It’s Hard

In life, duty means honoring your responsibilities—deadlines, promises, and personal goals. It’s the quiet grit behind every major success.

3. Respect: Strength Wears Humility

Respect isn’t weakness; it’s strength under control. In a polarized world, respect is a rare commodity. Master it, and you become a leader others naturally follow.

4. Selfless Service: Put Mission First

Every major innovation, social movement, and business breakthrough was built by someone who believed in something bigger than themselves. Want to be remembered? Serve something that will outlast you.

5. Honor: Live by a Code

Living with honor means choosing the harder right over the easier wrong. It’s leading without shortcuts and speaking the truth when it’s unpopular.

6. Integrity: Do What’s Right, Always

In any career or relationship, integrity builds credibility. Lose it, and even the sharpest skills won’t save you.

Warren Buffett once said: “In looking for people to hire, look for three qualities: integrity, intelligence, and energy. And if they don’t have the first, the other two will kill you.”

7. Personal Courage: Face Fear With Purpose

Every time you speak up, step forward, or stand alone, you’re exercising personal courage. Build that muscle, and no challenge can own you.

You don’t need a uniform to live like a soldier. But you do need the will to live with purpose.
