Time keeps moving on. It never stops for anyone–no matter how important you are. We just can’t find enough of that stuff. The late Jim Croce sang about bottling time, and if it could be put in a bottle, I imagine time would be a best selling product! But one thing’s for sure — God wants us to be good stewards of our time, and the starting point is knowing why each of us is here. Consider these steps in finding the answer to why we are here: Ask God to help you develop a life-purpose statement. It will take some time, but it’s the best time you’ll ever invest. Know why you’re here. Decide each day what’s most important for you to do that day, and do it. By having a clear purpose, and doing the most important thing each day, God can revolutionize your life and help you make the most of your time. Whatever you do, please don’t give up. There is no question that God has a purpose for your life, but sometimes God speaks in a still, small voice.  Listen.  You’ll be glad you did.

About 20 years ago, in the movie Liar, Liar, Jim Carey starred as the profane attorney who was incapable of lying for an entire day after his son made a birthday wish that his dad would stop lying.  At the end of the movie, the attorney sees the error of his ways and determines to be truthful for the rest of his life. While it is true that God forgives the sin of lying, the movie doesn’t take into account the human carnage that was left in the wake of his previous behavior.

Lying has become a pervasive problem. Have you fallen into the habit?

It seems that today’s “me first” mindset places very little value on honesty and personal integrity. Truth is sacrificed on the altar of self-advancement. At the time, you may think that lying will make your life easier, but one lie almost always requires another and another and another. You have to remember everything you said to keep from confusing your lies.

But when you tell the truth, you don’t have to remember what you said. That makes life a lot less complicated!

Which life have you created for yourself?

There’s only one way to break the bondage of a lie, and that’s with the truth. Seek to live with integrity and honesty and you’ll find new freedom for living.

How? The truth is found in Jesus Christ. Find Him, and find the truth, the power, and strength to become a person of integrity.

Our Employee Health fair will be held again this year in November for all of our employees.  You can go to either health fair that is convenient to you.  The dates are as follows:

**South side:  November 7th in Chevrolet Community Room from 10 AM – 2 PM

**North side:  November 9th in the Honda Conference Room & Kitchen from 12 PM-4 PM
