It is sobering to realize that God always knows all of our thoughts!  Our blessing and our problems are rooted in either right or wrong thinking.  We reap what we sow, and that is spiritual law that we cannot avoid.  Thoughts are seeds that produce a harvest in our lives.

If we want more peace, or be more joyful, we will need to improve our thoughts.  If we want to be able to do more, then we must not think and meditate on what we cannot do and how weak we are.  You cannot change your life without changing your thoughts.

The Bible even says that God knows when we sit down and when we get up, and He knows out thoughts from afar (see Palm 139:2)  Keeping in mind that none of our thoughts are a secret from God may help us be more willing to think according to His will.  Your thoughts do matter.  They turn into your words, your attitudes, your moods and your behavior.

Before you get up in the morning, practice “on purpose” thinking.  Think according to what you want to have, not according what you have always had in the past.  God is doing a new thing in your life and He wants you think accordingly.
