Don’t waste your time

Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a hear of wisdom. Psalm 90:12

Each day God gives us is precious, and once it is gone, we can never get it back. A day wasted is a day lost, so I encourage you to make your time count. For example, don’t waste a day in anger, unforgiveness, or self-pity. None of these negative emotions helps us in any way, and they are a complete waste of time.

We all have twenty-four hours in a day, yet some people seem to accomplish so much in that period of time, while others do nothing. I urge you to think about what you are doing with the time God has given you and make it useful, not useless. Today you have an entire day to make other people happy, to be thankful for all God’s blessings, or to finish a project you have intended to finish for months.

According to Psalm 118:24, “This is the day the Lord has made”, so do something worthwhile with it. Today’s scripture says, “Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom” Wise people do now what they will be happy with later. I encourage you to do something with the time have today that you will be satisfied with tomorrow.
