Do not fret or have any anxiety about anything, but in every circumstance and in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, continue to make your wants known to God. Philippians 4:6
Whatever you might be tempted to worry about today, I encourage you to turn that worry into prayer. Worrying produces nothing by anxiety and tension in our souls. That never brings an answer to our problems, but prayer opens the door for God to work marvelous wonders.
One sincere prayer offered in faith can produce more good that a lifetime of worry and anxiety. When you pray, be sure to give thanks along with your requests, expressing gratitude for the amazing things that God has already done in your life.
Thanksgiving opens the windows of heaven, but complaining opens a door for the enemy. We can all find things to complain and murmur about, but grumbling is as useless as worrying.
Prayer is your opportunity to receive God’s help, so take advantage of that opportunity today and every day of your life.
